Why the Volunteer Opportunity (VO) I published is not appearing in the Social Career platform？

There could be several reasons why the Volunteer Opportunity (VO) you published is not appearing in the Social Career platform. Please check the following settings to ensure that the volunteer opportunity/activity appears in the app:

Reason 1: The status of the VO is “draft” and has not been published

Reason 2: The visibility setting of the Volunteer Opportunity is set to non-public

Reason 1: The status of the VO is draft and has not been published

Check for published Volunteer Opportunities:

1. Click Volunteering > Current

2. Check the "Status" column in the list of volunteer opportunities.

• If it shows Published, it means the VO has been successfully published. If it is still not appeared in the Social Career Platform, please proceed to check the VO’s visibility setting.

  

Check for draft Volunteer Opportunities:

1. Click Volunteering > Draft
2. If you can find the volunteer opportunity on this page, it means it has not been published. You can refer to the article “How to publish a Volunteer Opportunity”.

Reason 2: The visibility setting of the Volunteer Opportunity is set to non-public

Check the visibility setting of the VO:

1. Click Volunteering > Current
2. Search specific VO and click on the ⋮ icon on the right.
3. Click Edit
4. Click Application
5. In the Volunteering Visibility section, choose Unlisted
6. Click Publish
