How to delete a volunteer opportunity?

• You cannot directly delete a volunteer opportunity on Social Career portal. However, you can make it private by following these steps:

1. Click Volunteering
2. Click Current
3. Find the volunteer opportunity you want to delete and click ⋮ on the right side.
4. Click Edit
5. Click on Application
6. In the Volunteering Visibility section, choose Unlisted
7. Click Publish

Update application status

• If you need to cancel a Volunteer Opportunity / Activity before it takes place, remember to update the volunteer application status to Declined and inform the confirmed volunteers about the situation.

1. Click on Volunteering / Activities
2. Select Current
3. Choose the Volunteer Opportunity / Activity you want to cancel and click on the ⋮ on the right side.
4. Click Manage Application
5. Click Update Application Status for all users.
6. Change Accepted / Reserved / Cancelled statuses to Declined and select the reason for declination.

For single timeslot

For multiple timeslots, Click Save upon editing the time slots and reason for declination.
