In the Social Career portal, there are four contact types available, including:
If a contact person meets the requirements for a specific contact type, the system will automatically classify them under that category. If a contact person meets the requirements for multiple categories, they can have multiple contact types.
Member
- This function is an account upgrade feature.
Click Contact
and then Members
to view the member's table. Members
indicates that the user has submitted a membership form to the organisation (refer to the sample form below) to apply for membership (Regarding the membership setting, the organisation may need to review the membership application).

- Members can participate in organisation-specific member-only activities.
Volunteers
- This function is an account upgrade feature.
Organisations can click on Contact
and then select Volunteers
to view the volunteer's information. Volunteers
indicates that the user has submitted a volunteer form to the organisation (refer to the sample form below) to apply for volunteer membership (depending on the membership category, the organisation may need to review the volunteer application).

- Volunteers can participate in volunteer opportunities that are exclusive to members.
Volunteer Participant
All Social Career users (including members and volunteers) can participate in public volunteer opportunities without submitting any membership forms for registration. When they apply for volunteer opportunities, their personal information will automatically be displayed in this page.
Activity Participant
All Social Career users (including members and volunteers) can participate in public activities without submitting any membership forms for registration. When they apply for activities, their personal information will automatically be displayed in this page.
